Joy Brown, NP

Joy Brown is a board certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner earning her post-master’s certificate in family psychiatric mental health from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She brings experience as an outpatient provider at a community mental health clinic treating and providing medication management to individuals and families. Joy has a strong understanding of the whole healthcare landscape as her professional history includes numerous fields including ICU, psychiatry, cardiology, surgery, and urgent care. Joy has over forty years of history on Nantucket, and splits her time between Chattanooga, TN and the island. She is thrilled to be a part of the Fairwinds team and looks forward to using her broad skill base to assist Nantucket residents and visitors with their mental health needs.
