Connie Wiegers

Connie Wiegers is the Director of the Wiegers Family Foundation based in Denver, Colorado.  She currently serves on the board at the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry (Johnson Depression Center) and the Vail Health/Eagle Valley Behavioral Health Board.

Connie's passion for behavioral health stems from her beloved late father in law, George Wiegers.  George founded The Depression Center at the University of Colorado and it became the founding nexus of 28 centers across the country (National Network of Depression Centers) dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by depression and related mood disorders.  In addition he created the Wiegers Clinic within the Eagle Valley Behavioral Health system in the Vail Valley bringing much needed services to the communities of the western slope of Colorado.

Prior to her involvement with the foundation, Connie worked in marketing and advertising for agencies in San Francisco and New York City.  She and her husband Alex reside in Denver, Colorado and Nantucket.
