Margo Ruggiero, LICSW

Margo earned her master’s degree from the University of New England in 2017 and has since been providing outpatient therapy to adolescents and adults experiencing a range of social and emotional issues including addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Margo has led mental health recovery groups and recently co-facilitated a psychodrama group. Working from a strengths-based perspective with a focus on growth and healing, Margo incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness and whole body healing. Prior to entering the field, Margo led Children’s Theatre Workshops and taught high school English. She looks forward to becoming certified as a psychodramatist and providing psychodrama groups on Nantucket in the future. She currently resides off-island in Massachusetts and provides tele-therapy for her clients. She enjoys acting in and directing plays, bicycling, Zumba, and hiking.
