Linda Simmons, MDiv

Linda Simmons has lived on Nantucket for 9 years. She received her Master’s of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and has since served as a Chaplain at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Wentworth Douglass Hospital and Nantucket Cottage Hospital. In addition she served as the Chaplain for the Nantucket Fire Department and Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket. Linda is in the third year of the Mental Health Counseling program at UMass Boston and is thrilled to be doing her practicum at Fairwinds and looks forward to serving the Nantucket community as part of the devoted and compassionate Fairwinds team. In her free time, she enjoys running on the moors and beaches, walking her dog Maddie and writing.
