Dr. Dianne Coscia is Fairwinds’ Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician who evaluates children with challenging behaviors, developmental problems, and school difficulties. She also has a pediatric private practice on Nantucket. She received her MD at Ross University School of Medicine on the island of Domenica, West Indies, and completed her Pediatric Residency at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center on Staten Island, NY (which is also where she grew up). She moved to Massachusetts for fellowship training in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center. She went on to open a Developmental Clinic at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center in 2008. During her 10 years of practice there, she also worked part time in the Pediatric Urgent Care and precepted pediatric residents from Children’s Hospital /Boston’s Combined Residency Program in their primary care rotations. Despite her busy schedule, Dianne continues her research and professional development. In 2016, she fell in love with the world-famous architect, Angus MacLeod, who has lived on Nantucket for 35 years. The two were married in 2017 at which point Dianne brought her skills and expertise to the Nantucket community year-round!
