Nicole Sandoval was born and raised on Nantucket. After graduating from NHS in 2016, she attended Bridgewater State University, at first as a psychology major, then shifting to social work in her second year. During her years at Bridgewater, she did two internships. For one, she worked at an afterschool therapeutic program serving children with social, emotional, and behavioral issues. Her second internship was in an elementary school as a school adjustment counselor. Nicole is bilingual (Spanish), loves working with children, and in her free time she loves to go to the beach, hang out with friends and family, and cuddle with her cats. A quote she lives by is, “Inhale the future. Exhale the past” (Anonymous).
