Interim Executive Director Michael Kellerman brings extensive non-profit leadership experience to Fairwinds with a focus on executive leadership and change management. Prior to joining Fairwinds, Michael served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Gemma Services, and before that as President and CEO of theVillage, where he led the organization through the merger that created Gemma. Before that, Michael was Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, DC. Michael earned a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, and holds a BA from The New School University in New York. Michael has written for The Austin Chronicle and other publications. Michael plays the saxophone, and has relocated to Nantucket from Philadelphia with his husband Nick Ashburn, son Benjamin, and dog Bella.
