Michael Getter has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years and is now adding paraclinical services at Fairwinds to his list of accomplishments. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Michael has worked in a wide variety of restaurant and catering settings. He is currently the owner/chef at the acclaimed Dune on Broad Street. His work has been published in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, New York Times and the Boston Globe. From an early age Michael has always felt drawn to helping those in need, and working with Fairwinds was a perfect fit. He has been in the world of recovery for the past 10 years, working with many who have struggled with alcoholism. He enjoys cycling, fishing, skiing, and taking walks with his wife Lisa, his dog Roxie, and his cat Mister.
